Is this a Waalaxy limit?
When importing from a LinkedIn search, you may have noticed you can't import more than 1000 prospects into Waalaxy (2500 leads from a Sales Navigator search). Most of our users think this is a limit we randomly setup and that if you import again, it'll import the 1000 next ones. However, this is a real LinkedIn limit.
How does it work?
You can import as many profiles as you want into your App. However, LinkedIn limits the display of search results to the first 1000 leads (2500 for a Sales Navigator search). Therefore you won’t be able to access results that correspond to the search beyond this number, even if LinkedIn seems to tell you otherwise : you can only get to page 100 of the search results.
How to bypass this limit?
There is actually an advantage to the LinkedIn limit: you have to categorize your targets into sub-personas and create specific Campaigns on Waalaxy to allow optimal customization for your different prospecting campaigns.
The idea is to break down a LinkedIn search into mutually exclusive sub-searches, without modifying the results.
Let’s take a simple example: you want to target Business Developers in France. and see around 50 000 results. Since Montpellier, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Paris, etc … are French cities, you should narrow down your Location into cities. So, delete “France” and enter “Lyon” instead. Now you’ll get around 4,000 results. That gives you access to 25% of the results. Much better right?
In any case, Waalaxy prevents you from exporting duplicates so it doesn't matter if a prospect appears twice in the same search 😉
